Spinal Cord Stimulation

If a patient has been living with chronic pain, Spinal Cord Stimulation may provide new hope. Spinal Cord Stimulation has been identified to be an effective treatment option for many chronic pain sufferers. SCS uses a small implanted device to generate tiny electrical pulses that replace the feeling of pain with a tingling or massaging sensation.

SCS can be very effective in relieving certain types of pain in the back, arms and legs. Treatment can be tried temporarily before placing the implanted system in the body so patients will know if the therapy works for them.

The system can be turned off permanently or removed if the patient does not get the level of relief desired.

Superion is revolutionizing the treatment of lumbar stenosis. It  provides patients with a minimally invasive approach that puts their  comfort and safety first, offering the only treatment on the continuum  of care between conservative care and surgery.

Lumbar Discectomy

Spinal Cord Stimulation

Lumbar Discectomy

A herniated disc can push on spinal nerves and cause severe, shooting leg pain, numbness and/or weakness. A minimally invasive disc removal can remove a portion of the herniated disc that is compressing spinal nerves through a small incision in the skin.

The minimally invasive approach uses a much smaller incision than traditional open spinal surgeries and avoids damage to the low back muscles, reducing both short term and long term post procedural painful conditions. This is also an outpatient procedure and can provide relief for many patients.
